Ester Borges

Ester Borges is our Head of Program. With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of São Paulo (IRI-USP) and a master’s in Political Science from the same institution, she developed a thesis analyzing the influence of media agendas on Brazil’s Congress, focusing on public policies aimed at eradicating violence against women. She has previously worked at Instituto Minas Programam and InternetLab on issues related to the impacts of digitalization on democracy, social participation, and how societies produce, circulate, and govern information.
