Ester Borges

Ester Borges is our Head of Program. With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of São Paulo (IRI-USP) and a master’s in Political Science from the same institution, she developed a thesis analyzing the influence of media agendas on Brazil’s Congress, focusing on public policies aimed at eradicating violence against women. Currently, she is the co-director of the Instituto Minas Programam and a research coordinator at InternetLab, leading projects investigating the impacts of digitalization on democracy, social participation, and how society handles information.
